Our work with Singapore culminated with the launch of the Asia Competitiveness Institute (ACI) at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore—an institution designed to become a regional hub for competitiveness research and policy innovation. In partnership with Singaporean government leaders, we produced the Singapore Competitiveness Report, a comprehensive assessment of the nation’s economic performance, institutional strengths, and strategic priorities. This report was a key input for the Economic Review Commission’s long-term planning, directly influencing Singapore’s approach to maintaining its competitive edge in a rapidly changing global economy. The collaboration reinforced Singapore’s global reputation for excellence in strategic economic management and its ability to translate research into actionable, results-driven policy.
