We started this journey with the Bogota Chamber of Commerce in 2012 to support its effort to create shared prosperity in the region. Our first step was the redefinition of corporate objectives, in which the concept of shared value was incorporated as part of organizational purpose. We supported the new reorganization process aligned with the new goals. We facilitated the creation of the vice-presidency of Competitiveness, supported by the vice-presidencies of business services and public-private coordination. Within the new Competitiveness vice-presidency, we enabled the creation of the cluster and shared value programs from scratch. Our work included the design of support methodology for business clusters with a long-term view, aligned with the local resources, we put together the teams, and in the first year 4 clusters were chosen to work with, a figure that continued to double until we had 17 clusters of more than 300.000 companies under the support of the chamber in the first three years. In 2024, after 4 different CEOs, the program continues to operate with 15 cluster initiatives and the Competitiveness vice-presidency
