Over nearly a decade, we worked with Peru to design a national economic strategy and a sequenced action plan that prioritized regional economic development. This included strategy sessions with both government and private sector leaders, as well as targeted coaching to establish a private-sector-led organization to support competitiveness initiatives. A significant emphasis was placed on using clusters as tools for economic diversification, enabling regions to identify and leverage their unique strengths while aligning with national policy goals.
